West Coast Operator Algebra Symposium

NOTE: Please Pre-register if you are planning on attending.

See the schedule and list of participants.

This year's West Coast Operator Algebra Symposium will be held at the University of Victoria in Victoria, B.C., Canada. The local organizers are John Phillips and Ian Putnam.

This annual event, which began as a strictly California affair, has long since expanded to include such coastal cities as Calgary, Reno and Prince George. This is it's first appearance in Victoria and promises to be a good one with the usual mix of established mathematicians and youngsters. Financial support in reverse seniority basis will be available from PIMS and NSF.

Dates:

Saturday, October 16 and Sunday, October 17, 1999.

We expect the talks to begin Saturday morning and end by noon or early afternoon on Sunday. Participants should expect to arrive on Friday.
